          destroyed by fire in the 1950’s and subsequently demolished.

          Magheralin House

              A detached single storey house built circa 1860 which was
          located at the junction of Rathdown Road and Church Road. At
                             th
          the turn of the 20  century the house was occupied by Henry
          Flavelle and family who lived primarily in Rathmines. In 1906 it
          was the home of the Misses Beattie and in 1922 was the home
          of Elizabeth Mary Ussher, who died in 1926. John Reid lived at
          Magheralin after Mrs Ussher and it later became the home of
          Charles Croly. Magheralin was recently demolished after a fire.
