                            Private Joseph Brien’s release order

              I left some heather from Co. Wicklow on Joe’s grave. Earlier
          that same day, in honour of all of the men from Co. Wicklow who
          died  in  World  War  I,  I  laid  a  wreath  of  Wicklow  heather,
          handmade in Bray by local florist Anne Clarke, at the Island of
