GREYSTONES ARCHAEOLOGICAL & HISTORICAL SOCIETY JOURNAL VOLUME 9

attended lectures and outings which we run throughout the
year, serves as a reminder of the continuing vitality of our
Society and of the loyalty and commitment of members
throughout the thirty years of its existence.

I wish to thank all our contributors, who gave so generously
and patiently of their time and expertise: we are honoured to be
able to present work of such high quality to our readers. Our
editor, Frank Deignan, has as ever displayed outstanding
commitment and efficiency in bringing this collection to fruition,
and has been supported in his labours by an enthusiastic and
           proactive committee.

Finally, the Society has been fortunate in securing financial
support for this Journal from Wicklow County Council under the
Creative Wicklow Grant Scheme 2018/Creative Ireland
Programme 2017-2022, and we express our heartfelt
           appreciation of this assistance.
