                                  Beatrice Gunning at home

Beatrice’s interest in Greystones is still as strong as it ever
was, and she has very definite views on how the town has
changed from the little village it was in her youth to the busy town
it now is. When she was growing up here all the houses on
Church Road were family homes - now they are the commercial
businesses of the town. Greystones now has a great supply of
coffee shops and restaurants, and you don’t have to leave the
town all that often. The Harbour is also a great development, and
the building of the new coastguard station is underway. What
would her grandfather think of this new building?

Beatrice is still living in Malvern, in the centre of the town, a
fitting place for someone who kept the town centre in all her work.
